Soarin' By
The only wildlife I really got to see was birds, which honestly I am kind of glad that was it, no bears please. But the birds were just soaring through the sky and parking above us when we were making food. As I was messing around and editing my video and cropping the photos, changing the filter the way I did really stuck with me. This photo captured what I felt on this trip; it felt timeless, like the world had stopped for a bit, and I want to experience that again. Everything about Krause Springs was really memorable.
Natural Pool
The natural pool was amazing to see in person. There was a rope to swing from, which I did not do because I was too scared. There was a small waterfall that dripped from the pool above. And there was a stone path that was kind of slippery, so you really had to be careful getting across. The water was really cold, and if I hadn't had my raft in the water first, as I was trying to get in, I slipped, and I would've gone way deeper into all the mush if it wasn't for the raft.
Dripping Springs
If you look closely, you could see that a rainbow had formed. This was another spring location that was probably once a waterfall. It was so soothing hearing the rain trickling down. Alongside, there was a path that many people were walking by. As I was taking the photo, someone told me how they got an incredible photo of the rainbow early, and he even suggested where to stand. That's what I've noticed on nature outings like these, how generous everyone is.
